How it all began…

In October 2014, Founder and Entrepreneur at heart, Courtney Smith, through her passion for writing, began to inscribe the vision for Sobeit Apparel. Courtney, who became an Entrepreneur at the early age of 25, has an unyielding belief in the concept that great Entrepreneurs are made and not born. In fact, she is living proof that if one possesses the desire and willpower, success is attainable. Courtney had an unquenchable desire to design apparel for those like herself; dreamers, thinkers, innovators, and visionaries. Major apparel companies pour hundreds of millions of dollars into product development, design, and marketing, yet here was this simple though creative idea conceived by one passionate woman who had a heart for Entrepreneurs and the challenges they face. Why? Because Courtney knew personally what life was/is like for an Entrepreneur, especially a newbie.

Birthed in Houston, Texas but located in Atlanta, Georgia, Sobeit Apparel was an idea that started with two t-shirts. It has now evolved into a company that produces comfortable, yet stylish and trendy clothing for Entrepreneurs and those who aspire to become Entrepreneurs, particularly millennials. Combined with the growing number of Entrepreneurs and their active lifestyle, Courtney dared to create a brand with “Entrepreneurial themed apparel" as its core…the result was Sobeit Apparel.  Though Sobeit's existence is new, its relentless commitment to creativity is legendary. 

Through Sobeit Apparel, Courtney endeavors to design and produce original, yet creative and casual, clothing suited for the modern Entrepreneur whether male or female, young or old, beginner or advanced.  Her personal belief is that whether novice or veteran, Entrepreneurs have the ability to transform Vision into Reality. Additionally, she believes Entrepreneurs are in a “class of their own”; therefore, it’s only befitting this elite group of creators have something that’s descriptive of the craft they possess, representative of the image they exude, and symbolic of the individual they aspire to be. 

Sobeit Apparel’s mission is to design and create clothing that Inspires, Empowers, and Awakens.  More than just words and images on a shirt, its clothing relays a message of hope, determination, strength, and resiliency. At Sobeit Apparel, meaning and design is paramount.  Over the next few months, you will see new, creative and insightful designs that are sure to please.  It is our sincere hope the messages embodied within each new design will resonate with who you are, what you know to be true, and who you aspire to become.
